OLYMPIC LITTER PATROL

A SERIOUS LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE SASQUATCH

Very rare are those places where there is no visible sign of humans. Only in the deepest recesses of the wilds will there be no occasional gum wrapper or potato chip bag lying idly next to a footpath or gravel road. Humans indeed poop in not only their own nest, but the nests of any nearby creature, be it raccoon, bear, or bigfoot. The proof is in the potato chip bag.

Being an ever-optimistic do-gooder, I want to suggest a simple solution. Considering how light litter actually is, perhaps we could just carry some of it out of the woods every time we go into the woods. You can even use the plastic bags you find as trash bags for the other litter you'll come across. How utilitarian!

With all the litter lying around in the woods, it is no wonder sasquatches don't want anything to do with us. Perhaps they see the lack of stewardship we give to the land. Perhaps we have a lot to learn from them. Littering shows a lack of respect for the 'squatch. Don't do it.
